Brands and your account
How brands are organised in a tree, and why contacts belong to one brand.
Mosaic is organised around brands. A brand might be a business, a location or a team, and brands can sit under other brands to form a tree.
On the Overview page, the Brand tree shows how yours is laid out. In the demo account, for example, Coastline Wellness has two brands beneath it, Coastline Wellness Burleigh and Coastline Wellness Noosa.
What brands change
- Contacts belong to one brand. When you add a contact you choose which brand they belong to, and they stay with it.
- Pages show a brand picker. Contacts, Campaigns, Analytics and others let you choose one brand or all of them. Choosing a brand also shows the brands beneath it. The Contacts page says, for example, "48 contacts in Coastline Wellness and below".
- Things are shared down the tree. Templates, tags, attributes and email categories made at a brand can be used by every brand below it.
- Limits are inherited. Sending limits set on a brand apply to the brands beneath it, and the strictest limit wins.
Switching accounts
If you look after more than one account, your current account is shown at the bottom left of the sidebar. Use it to switch.
